Work is underway on writing an entirely new set of material for a project that I’m very excited about indeed. On 25th July 2015, peerless pianist, Espen Eriksen and tip-top trumpeter Gunnar Halle join me in premiering the new work at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival – There will be no after-show shenanigans as we’re up early the next morning to record two days of Nordic intensity at Pencaitland’s illustrious Castle Sound Studio.
